A nosing is a functional horizontal trim piece that protects the edge of something, like the tread of a staircase that extends beyond the riser, or the edges of a countertop to name a few. Some nosing details have dado's milled into them to receive the edge of a shelf. They provide a decorative design and good structural support. Other patterns may have rabbets milled into the backside, like the edge of a tongue and groove used in flooring applications. We currently offer over three hundred and sixty decorative, well-designed nosings with many styles and uses, including bullnose, beaded face frames, shelving, stair treads, flooring, countertops, and more. We combined many geometrical shapes, including half round, fillets, ovolo, ogee, rabbets, dadoes, radiuses, torus, cavetto's and turned them into many stunning patterns to greatly enhance the style and decor of your fabulous home or office.
