Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 62

This 3/4" - 62 micro v-groove siding measures .750" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber; the width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the moulder/shaper used to cut the pattern. The profile comprises a 1/4" wide by 1/4" deep tongue and groove with a 1/16" wide by 1/16" tall chamfer on a single edge of the pattern. There is a .008" void in the joint for seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together; they create a 1/8" wide by 1/16" deep v-groove on one face side of the merged boards. The downloadable dxf file (available for purchase below) contains four professionally designed template patterns to create molding cutters for this detail, a set of two for milling face side up and the other for milling face side down.
