Tongue & Groove 3/4"

This 3/4" micro bevel tongue & groove measures .750" thickness, enabling the detail to be milled out of four-quarter lumber, and widths are machined to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to cut the pattern. The profile comprises a 5/16" wide by 1/4" tall tongue & groove with a 1/16" forty-five-degree chamfer on both side edges of each profile; there is a .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of finished milled lumber are joined, they create a 1/8" wide by 1/16" deep v-groove on both face sides of the merged boards.
