Crown 1-1/2" - 4

This small 1-1/2" - 4 colonial crown mould measures 1.500" wide by .625" thickness. The typical design consists of a cyma recta flanked by a 1/4" tall vertical fillet on top and an 11/64" tall fillet below, attached to a 3/16" radius cove and a 7/32" wide horizontal fillet at the bottom of the pattern. We currently have a small family of eight patterns including this one at various size widths, heights, and projections for your review and consideration, 2" wide, 2-1/2" wide, 3" wide, 4" wide, 5-1/2" wide, 7" wide, and 8-1/2" wide.

The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back cuts set the installed height at 1-11/64" tall with a projection of 15/16" wide. Three high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same level plane; our custom design practices will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is calibrated.
