Crown Moulding 9"

This large crown moulding 9" measures 9.000" wide by 1.500" thickness. The beautiful profile is comprised of a 4-41/64" radius cove in the center, attached to a 5/16" tall vertical line with an 11/16" quarter round circle on top. The lower portion consists of a 9/16" radius convex arc tangent off of a 3/4" concave semicircle creating a cyma reversa or ogee, joined to a 21/64" wide horizontal fillet above and a 7/16" wide horizontal fillet at the bottom of the pattern.

The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these specific back cuts set the installed height at 6-13/32" tall with a projection of 6-5/16" wide. Five high points in the design were intentionally positioned on the same level plane, this specific design feature will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the machine's bed plates.
