Crown 4-21/32"

This lovely 4-21/32" cyma crown mould measures 4.659" wide by .812" thickness, allowing the pattern to be milled sprung (horizontally flat) utilizing four-quarter lumber. The beautiful standard profile is composed of a 15/16" tall vertical line on top, connected to a three tangent radius cyma recta in the center, joined to a 31/64" tall and wide squared right angle at the bottom of the pattern. The belly of the crown is recessed .015" below the two hold down points, this intentional design practice is to lessen the chance of developing a burnish mark that the metal pressure shoe could cause. The spring angles are fixed at thirty and sixty degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 4-1/16" tall with a projection of 2-9/32" wide.
