Crown 4" - 26

This medium-sized 4" - 26 crown mould measures 4.000" wide by .750" thickness, enabling a 4-1/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The striking terminating profile comprises a 1-57/64" radius cove in the center, connected to a 9/32" radius ovolo with a 1/4" tall vertical line on the top. The lower portion consists of a 5/64" broad horizontal bar connected to a 27/64" radius half circle, joined to a more minor 11/64" radius arc with a 9/64" wide squared fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 3" tall, with a projection of 2-21/32" wide. Three high points in the design are intentionally positioned on the same plane; our superior design features will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling, providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the machine's bedplates.
