Crown 4" - 1

This 4" - 1 cyma recta crown mould measures 4.000" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the pattern to be milled from four-quarter lumber. The attractive profile comprises a 1-1/8" convex arc tangent off of a 1-1/16" concave curve creating the cyma recta in the center. Connected to a 1/2" tall vertical line on the top, the lower portion consists of a 17/32" tall vertical line, attached to a 17/32" broad line at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 3-3/32" tall, with a projection of 2-9/16" wide. Two high points in the design were intentionally positioned on the same plane; our excellent design features will assure superior hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the machines bed plates.
