WM 163 Base Cap 1-3/8" - 12

This typical WM 163 base cap comprises a 3/32" horizontal line creating a quirk when applied to a piece of S4S (surfaced four sides) lumber. It's attached to a steeply downsloping s-shaped curvature in the center, joined to a 9/32" broad splay face on the design's right edge. The traditional base cap 1-3/8" - 12 measures 1.375" in width by .687" in thickness. We recommend using 1-5/8" wide blanks of lumber for milling on commercial machinery. We have a couple of other patterns with similar design characteristics in the same width for your review and consideration, base cap 1.375" - 6 and base cap 1.375" - 17.
