familiar base cap 1-3/8" - 17 measures 1.375" wide by .750" thickness. The established profile is comprised of a 1/8" broad horizontal line connected to a deep sloping cyma reversa consisting of a 1/4" radius arc and a 3/8" radius cove, joined to a 15/64" wide chamfered edge on the thin side of the design.
