Tongue & Groove 7/16" - 3

This 7/16" - 3 tongue & groove v-joint paneling measures .437" thickness, authorizing machining out of resawn six or solid four-quarter lumber. The width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the moulder or shaper used to cut the pattern. The famous profile comprises a 3/16" wide by 5/32" tall tongue & groove with a 1/8" wide by 5/64" deep chamfer on the side edges. There is a built-in .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber get joined; they create a ¼" wide by 5/64" deep v-groove on the face side of the merged boards.
