Tongue & Groove 7" - 3

This 7" - 3 tongue & groove gap siding measures 7.375" overall by .750" thickness, enabling a 7-5/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for machining on a commercial moulder. The stylish profile contains a ¼" tall by 13/32" groove on the right. The opposite side has a ¼" tall by 3/8" wide tongue. The void in the joint area is controlled by the machinery's left cutter head axial movement. The top of the detail retains a six-inch flat section with a one-inch wide by ¼" deep rabbet. When two pieces of milled lumber join, they create a seven-inch face coverage dimension with a decorative one-inch channel gap between the merged boards.
