WP-106 Tongue & Groove 6-7/8" - 1

This 6-7/8" - 1 WP 106 tongue & groove siding measures 7.125" wide by .718" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The widely used siding profile is composed of a 1/4" tall by 9/32" wide tongue & groove. There is a .032" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. The top of the pattern comprises a 5-5/8" wide straight line segment, joined to a 1-1/4" wide congee derived from a 1-1/8" radius cove, tangent off of a 23/32" broad flat line. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a decorative 6-7/8" face coverage dimension with a 1-1/4" wide scooped channel; this will disperse moisture away from the joint area and onto the face side of the pattern.
