WP 106 Tongue & Groove 5-3/4" - 1

This 5-3/4" - 1 WP 106 tongue & groove siding measures 6.000" wide by .812" thickness, permitting the detail to be milled out of four-quarter lumber. The traditional profile is composed of a 1/4" tall by 17/64" wide tongue & groove with a .010" void in the joint area, this is for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. The pattern is top comprises a 4-1/2" broad straight line segment, joined to a 1-1/4" wide congee derived from a 1-1/8" radius cove tangent off of a 23/32" broad flat line. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a 5-3/4" wide face coverage dimension with a decorative 1-1/4" wide scooped channel; this will disperse moisture away from the joint area and onto the face side of the pattern.
