WP-18 Tongue & Groove 5-1/16"

This 5-1/16" - 1 WP-18 tongue & groove paneling measures 5.438" overall width and a thickness of .718", requiring a 5-11/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The traditional profile contains two 2-1/32" wide flat line segments divided by a 1/2" wide by 3/16" deep v-groove in the center with a 1/4" chamfer on both side edges. The groove dimensions are 7/16" wide by 9/32" tall. The tongue measures 3/8" wide by 17/64" tall with a .010" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the material during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a 1/2" v-groove between the merged boards.
