Tongue & Groove 4" - 19

This 4" - 19 tongue & groove decking measures 4.000" thickness, requiring fourteen-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The width gets milled to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to cut the pattern. The simplistic detail composes two 5/8" tall by 1/2" deep recessed grooves divided by a 59/64" fillet on the right side. The opposing side retains two 9/16" tall by 7/16" protruding tongues separated by a 63/64" vertical line segment. When two pieces of lumber merge, they create a simple butt joint with a .062" void in the t & g areas for seasonal changes in relative humidity. We offer an additional profile in a three-inch thickness for your review and consideration, tongue & groove 3.000" - 12.

Our professionally designed acrylic templates and knives include the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the blades properly without modifying the detail. It will also prolong the milling time between sharpening.
