Tongue & Groove 2-1/2" - 4

This 2-1/2" - 4 tongue & groove beadboard measures 2.750" width by .750" thickness, permitting the use of four-quarter lumber for machining on a commercial-grade molder. The popular profile contains a 3/8" wide v-groove with a recessed 3/16" full half circle in the top center, connected to a 7/8" full line with a 9/32" bead and angle on the left and a 3/32" beveled edge on the right side of the design. The tongue and groove dimensions are 1/4" wide by 1/4" deep with a .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of machined lumber are joined, they create an evenly spaced design with a face coverage dimension of 2-1/2" wide.
