Bullnose 15/32"

This 15/32" bullnose measures .468" thickness with a .390" depth of cut on the right vertical profile cutters. This detail is milled on the right vertical spindle so that the moulder's guide fence after the left cutter head will not indent, and damage the nosing from the sharp edge of the metal fence. Widths are adjustable to any desired size within the parameters of the moulder used to mill the pattern.

The profile is comprised of a 15/64" radius half-round circle with a generous blend area on each side edge of the pattern. Bullnose knife designs are not intended for milling half-round profiles due to the extra blend area incorporated in the cutter's design, this extra blade extension would come in contact with the bedplates of the machinery if milled from the top horizontal spindle.
