Handrail 4" - 4
This beautifully bold 4" - 4 handrail measures 4.000" width by 4.000" thickness, necessitating a 4-1/4 broad blank of glued-up five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The modern profile is milled to any desired width with a simple radial movement of the machine's left cutter head. It contains a 1/4" chamfer connected to a 1-1/4" vertical fillet on the upper right and left sides. The detail tapers inward, creating a comfortable finger grip area in the center. The lower portion contains a one-inch vertical line segment attached to the same beveled edge as the top. We offer a smaller version of this design for your review and consideration,
