This 3-1/4" - 1 modified 6701 handrail measures 3.250" wide by 2.125" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined out of glued-up four, five, six, or eight-quarter lumber. The elegant profile comprises an eight-and-one-quarter-degree bidirectional angled top with 1/4" radius edges, transitioning into an 11/16" cavetto on the sides, creating the gripping area for ascending or descending stairs. The lower sides retain a miniature 3/16" half-round bead with a 3/16" tall vertical fillet. We offer a few other alternative width sizes in this style of railing for your review and consideration,
