Handrail 2-3/4" - 32

This modern 2-3/4" - 32 handrail measures 2.750" wide by 1.750" tall. The pattern requires glued-up pieces of four or solid eight-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial molder. The width is variable because the wood gets cut from the left and right vertical cutterheads. The symmetrical, modern profile contains a 1-3/16" tall rectangle with 5/32" rounded side edges. Merged to a 5/8" concave semicircular arc that creates the finger grip area, with 3/64" eased edges, leaving a 1-3/4" width measurement on the bottom side of the design.
