This contemporary 2-5/8" - 34 handrail measures 2.625" width by 1.625" thickness, allowing solid eight-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. Due to the knife design machining on vertical cutter heads, variable widths are obtainable. The up-to-date pattern contains a 1/4" round-over on both upper corners. The sides retain a 7/16" vertical fillet with a 1/8" rolled edge that transitions into a 5/16" concave semicircle, creating the finger grip area with a 1/8" eased edge on the bottom edges of the design.
