This modern 2-5/8" - 32 handrail measures 2.625" width by 1.625" thickness, allowing the use of solid eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial-grade molder due to the knife design machining on vertical cutter heads; variable widths are obtainable. The contemporary pattern contains a 3/8" round-over on the upper corners. The sides retain an 11/32" vertical fillet with a 1/8" rolled edge that transitions into a 3/8" concave semicircle, creating the 5/16" deep finger grip area with a 3/64" eased edge on the bottom edges of the design.
