This oval 2-1/4" - 49 handrail measures 2.250" width by 1.500" thickness, requiring a 2-1/2" wide blank of glued pieces of four, five, or six-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The egg shape profile contains a 1-1/2" radius semicircular arc on both the top & bottom, tangent to a 9/16" radius partial circle on the right and left side of the pattern.
