This elliptical-shaped handrail 2-1/4" - 17 measures 2.250" wide by 1.000" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined out of five-quarter lumber. The egg-shaped profile is comprised of a 1-5/8" radius arc on both the top and bottom that are tangent off of a 19/64" radius semicircle on both sides of the design.
