3/8" Half Round - 3

This 3/8" Half Round - 3 measures .375" wide by .187" thickness, with a .202" depth of cut on the top horizontal cutters. Caution; the moulding knives will come within .005" of the moulder bed plates; we suggest a sacrificial bed plate be used when milling this detail.

The profile is comprised of three 3/16" radius half-round circles with two 1/8" wide splitters in the middle. As with every splitting operation, we recommend installing an anti-kickback device on the moulder before attempting to mill any of our multiple profiles. Utilize fall-off rips of lumber while tripling production in a third of the amount of time with this unique split three custom knife profile. The rough lumber size for this detail would be about 1-5/8" wide.
