Stop 1-3/8" - 13

This T Stop Moulding 1-3/8" - 13 measures 1.375" width by 1.093" thickness with a depth of cut of .281" for the top set of knives and a depth of cut of .250" for the bottom set of moulding knives. The profile is comprised of two 1/8" radius round overs located on the top edges of the pattern, the bottom is rabbeted 1/4" wide by 1/4" deep on each side edge of the detail. This type of tee stop is inserted into a pre-milled dado on the door jamb. These styles of door stops have more structural integrity than an applied/planted on style of a doorstop; t-stops are more often used on thicker door styles like 1-3/4" or larger thicknesses. They are also more labor intensive to manufacture, thus raising the production cost of the overall price of the door. We provide the cut steel size on all our moulding knife designs, so you have the correct size knife steel blanks before you start production.
