Crown Moulding 8" - 3

This distinctive crown moulding 8" - 3 measures 8.000" wide by 1.093" thickness. The large profile is comprised of a 5-23/32" radius cove in the center, attached to a 1/2" tall vertical line on top, the lower portion consists of a 1/2" tall by 7/16" wide notch, joined to a 1-1/4" tall by 1/4" wide notch, with yet another 1/4" tall by 1/4" wide rabbet, with a 9/16" wide horizontal line at the bottom of the pattern.

The spring angles are fixed at twenty-five and sixty-five degree, the template designs are included in the downloadable dxf file, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 7-1/16" tall with a projection of 3-49/64" wide. Two high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same level plane, our specific design features will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is set parallel to the bed plates. Our precise cad drawings contain plenty of important information that will assist you during setup and milling of this profile. Our acrylic templates also provide sufficient blend areas on the knives so you will never realize where one cutter begins or ends, this practice will substantially increase molding yield during the milling process.
