This intriguing 6-1/2" - 5 crown mould measures 6.540" wide by 1.062" thickness, requiring the use of a 6-3/4" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial molder. The symmetrical terminating profile contains a shallow 4-27/64" concave semicircular arc in the center. The cove is flanked by a 5/64" sunken fillet merged with a 27/64" convex bead, joined to a 1/4" cove boarded by a vertical and horizontal line segment at the top and bottom of the design. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall, and ceiling when installed. These specific angles also lock in the positioned height at 4-5/8" tall with a 4-5/8" projection across the top.
