Crown 5-15/16" - 2

This magnificent 5-15/16" - 2 crown mould measures 5.946" width by 1.250" thickness, necessitating the use of six-quarter lumber for machining sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial-grade molder. The complex supporting profile contains a set back 5/64" tall fillet joined to a protruding 1-3/64" bullnose with a 3/32" vertical line on the top left. Attached to a graceful two-tangent radius cyma recta with a 1/16" drop-in elevation joined to a 17/64" cove in the center. The lower portion consists of a 3/16" wide by 47/64" tall notch for inserting a piece of 5/8" rope mould and a 7/64" horizontal fillet with a two tangent radius quarter round convex arc on the bottom right side of the design. The fixed spring angles get set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the exposed face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; in addition, they set the oriented height at 3-15/16" tall with a projection of 4-21/32" across the top.
