Crown 5-1/2" - 36

This Cyma Recta Crown Moulding 5-1/2" – 36 measures 5.500" wide by 1.000" thickness. The time-honored profile is comprised of a 1-3/8" radius convex arc tangent off of a 1-11/32" radius concave circle in the center, attached to a 57/64" tall vertical fillet on top. The lower section of the design consists of a 21/32" vertical line connected to a 9/16" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; search our bevels category by these degrees to find two back bevel cutters appropriate for this lovely crown moulding design, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 4-13/32" tall with a projection of 3-19/64" wide. Two high points in the detail were intentionally positioned on the same level plane. This specialized design feature will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling, providing the pressure shoe is set parallel to the machine's bed plates.
