Crown 5-1/2" - 34

This classic 5-1/2" - 34 crown mould measures 5.490" width by .750" thickness, allowing the use of a 5-3/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial-grade molder. The customary terminating profile contains a 1/2" vertical fillet on the top left. The short line attaches to an elegant two-tangent radius cyma recta in the center, merged with a 9/16" tall line segment joined to a 41/64" cove with a 9/16" broad flat line on the bottom right side of the design. The fixed spring angles are set at forty and fifty degrees, these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 4-1/8" tall with a projection of 3-5/8" across the top.
