Crown 5-1/2" - 27

This beautiful 5-1/2" - 27 colonial-themed crown mould measures 5.494" width by .812" thickness, allowing the use of a 5-3/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The free-flowing terminating profile contains a 31/64" vertical fillet on the top left. The short line connects to a 5/32" tall by 3/16" wide perpendicular notch, merged with a graceful two tangent radius cyma recta in the center. The lower portion consists of a 9/32" vertical line segment attached to a 17/32" cove with a 23/64" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom right side of the design. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 4-3/16" tall with a projection of 3-9/16" across the top.
