Crown 4-3/4" - 4

This beautifully ornate 4-3/4" - 4 crown mould measures 4.750" wide by .750" thickness. The classic terminating profile comprises a squared notched fillet on top connected to a cyma recta in the middle, attached to a 7/16" radius half-circle flanked by angled lines and small stepped lines with a tiny cavetto with a 15/64" broad horizontal line at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 3-11/16" tall with a projection of 3" wide. Two high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same plane, our specialized design features will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling providing the pressure shoe is parallel to the machine's bed plates. Perhaps a felt-lined pressure element may eliminate any unsightly burnish mark left on the half-round arc during the milling process.
