This southwestern 2-7/8" - 11 crown mould measures 2.875" wide by 1.000" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of five-quarter lumber. The stepped symmetrical profile is composed of a 25/32" tall vertical line segment on the top left, attached to a 13/16" broad horizontal line and two 7/16" perpendicular lines in the center, joined to a 13/16" tall by 25/32" broad squared lines at the bottom of the design. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees . These explicit back bevels keep the inner profile parallel to the wall and ceiling; they also set the installed height at 2-1/32" tall with a projection of 2-1/32" wide.
