This stylish 2-1/2" - 17 crown mould measures 2.500" wide by .750" thickness. The profile is comprised of two tangent radiuses creating a cyma recta in the center, flanked by a 5/8" vertical fillet on top, and a 7/32" tall fillet below, attached to a 25/64" radius cove with a 9/32" wide horizontal fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are set at thirty and sixty degrees; search our bevels category by this degree to find two sets of back bevel cutters appropriate for this design, these specific cuts set the installed height at 2-1/8" tall with a projection of 1-9/32" wide. Two high points in the detail are intentionally positioned on the same level plane; this creative design feature will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling the detail on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is adequately set parallel to the machines bed plates.
