Crown 2-3/8" - 8

This superb 2-3/8" - 8 terminating crown mould measures 2.357" width by .625" thickness, permitting a 2-5/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The graceful terminating profile contains a 3/8" vertical line on the top left. The line connects to a 5/8" concave semicircle tangent to a 55/64" convex arc forming the beautiful cyma recta in the center. The curvature joins to a 5/16" tall by 5/16" broad perpendicular lines on the design's bottom right corner. The spring angles are fixed at thirty and sixty degrees, these precise back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the height position at 2" tall with a 1-1/4" projection across the top.
