Cove 1/2" - 3

This small 1/2" - 3 cove mould measures .500" wide by .500" thickness. The profile comprises a 3/8" radius cavetto flanked by a 5/32" wide by 5/32" tall on the top and side edge of the detail. The knife design can mill two pieces simultaneously, creating a cost-efficient way to utilize the mill's fall-off lumber rips. The recommended rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 1-7/16" wide.

Caution: the knives will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when cutting this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
