Cove 3-5/8"

This designer 3-5/8" cove mould measures 3.625" wide by .813" thickness, enabling the pattern to be milled sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber. The asymmetrical profile comprises a 2-39/64" cove in the center, connected to a 3/4" tall vertical line segment on top and a 1/2" wide horizontal line at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-7/8" tall with a projection of 2-3/16" wide. Two high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same plane, our disciplined design features will assure excellent hold down conditions while milling as long as the pressure shoe is parallel to the bed-plates.
