Cove 3-3/16"

This medium-sized 3-3/16" cove mould measures 3.187" wide by .812" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The concave symmetrical profile is comprised of a 1-63/64" radius cove in the center, attached to a 9/16" tall vertical line segment on top and a 3/8" horizontal line at the bottom of the design. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-21/64" tall with a projection of 2-11/64" wide. Two high points in the detail were deliberately positioned on the same plane; our disciplined design features will assure excellent hold-down conditions while milling as long as the pressure shoe is parallel to the machine bed-plates.
