WM 210 Shingle Mould 1-5/8" - 1

This WM 210 shingle mould 1-5/8" - 1 cornice pattern measures 1.625" in width by .687" in thickness. Originally used on the exposed part of a gabled roof that extends from an eave to the ridge of the rooftop sloped sides, known as the building rake. The traditional shingle detail comprises a 1/2" broad flat line on the top left. It attaches to a bidirectional congee consisting of a 3/16" radius concave & convex semicircles tangent to a 1/2" line segment in the center. The convex arc joins to a 1/4" broad straight line, leaving a 5/32" thickness dimension on the design's right edge. We suggest using 1-7/8" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for milling with industrial machinery.
