Baseboard 5-1/4" - 54

This custom 5-1/4" - 54 baseboard measures 5.250" wide by .625" thickness, enabling the detail to be milled from four-quarter lumber. The intriguing profile was intentionally designed for inlaying a piece of 1/2" wide rope moulding. The pattern composes a 3-5/8" wide by 5/32" deep stepped line with a 1/16" eased edge in the left center, connected to a 17/32" wide sunk fillet for the rope molding, joined to a 9/16" wide raised fillet with rounded edges and a three tangent radius ogee with a 3/64" eased edge on the right side of the pattern. Caution; the cutters will come within .020" of the moulder bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic or plastic sacrificial bed plate be used for these milling operations.
