Baseboard 5-1/4" - 45

This beautiful 5-1/4" - 45 baseboard measures 5.250" wide by .625" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled from four-quarter lumber. The custom profile was designed explicitly for inlaying a piece of 3/4" rope mould. The profile comprises a 3-23/64" broad line with a 13/64" deep step on the left. It's connected to a 49/64" wide sunk fillet for the rope that joins to a 9/16" wide raised fillet with rounded edges and a three tangent radius ogee on the right side of the pattern. We offer this pattern with a 1/2" dado for rope moulding for your review and consideration, baseboard 5.250" - 54.

Caution; the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic or plastic sacrificial bed plate be used for these milling operations.
