This backout 3" - 7 measures 3.000" wide. This profile can be utilized on hundreds of our thicker-sized
casings and
chair rails.
The functional profile is comprised of a 1-1/2" wide by 1/8" deep plow flanked by forty-five-degree bevels, they both transition into 3/4" wide straight fillets on each side edge of the detail. The maximum width these cutters can mill is 3-3/4" wide when the bottom cutterhead is positioned at .000" axially.
Our purple colored ceramic blend grinding wheel, hogging at 2000 rpm, at a twenty-five degree back clearance angle, will rough grind a set of high-speed steel knives in a minimal amount of time.
