Backout/Relief Cut 2-3/4" - 1

This backout 2-3/4" - 1 measures 2.750" wide. This profile can be used on many of our smaller-sized baseboard, medium-sized casing and chair rails. The design layout is comprised of a 1-1/2" wide by 3/32" deep plow flanked by forty-five-degree chamfers that transition into 5/8" wide straight fillets on each side. The maximum width this knife can mill is 3-1/2" wide, with the bottom cutterhead positioned at .000" axially.

We provide the cut steel size on all our knife designs. This specialized feature allows you to have the right size bar of knife steel in stock before you start knife grinding procedures and production.
