Backout/Relief Cut 2" - 2

This backout 2" - 2 measures 2.000" wide. The profile is utilized on many of our smaller sized baseboard, casing, and chair rails. The layout is comprised of a 7/8" wide by 1/16" deep plow flanked by forty-five-degree chamfers. They transition into 9/16" wide straight fillets on each side. The maximum width this knife can mill is 2-3/4" wide, with the bottom cutterhead positioned at .000" axially.

Our purple colored ceramic blend grinding wheel hogging at 2000 rpm and, at a twenty-five degree back clearance angle, will rough grind a set of high-speed steel knives in a minimal amount of time.
