Tongue & Groove 13/16" - 4

This 13/16" - 4 blind nail gap siding measures .812" thickness, allowing random width blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining on a commercial moulder. The functional profile comprises a 1 1/4" wide offset tongue with a chamfered edge for moisture displacement when installed. The opposing side edge retains a 3/4" wide by 5/16" tall groove. When two pieces of milled lumber get joined, they create a decorative 1/2" wide by 5/16" deep channel gap. When installed the securing nails are hidden underneath the piece of lumber on top of it, creating a cleaner look with no visible nail holes. There is a built-in .015" void in the tongue & groove joint for seasonal changes in relative humidity.
