Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 89

This universal 3/4" - 89 rough sawn gap siding measures .750" thickness, allowing any size width of eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The blind nailing profile consists of two 1/4" tall by 19/32" deep offset grooves on the right edge. The opposite side retains a 1/4" tall by 9/16" wide offset tongue. Built into the design is an equally spaced void of .008". The area is designed for the expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. There is also a tiny v-notch in the center to help the resaw operator cut into two boards. When pieces of lumber join, they create a pronounced 1/8" broad shadow gap that uses natural light to enhance a building's visual effects, whether vertically or horizontally installed.
