Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 80

This 3/4" - 80 channel/gap siding measures .750" thickness, allowing the pattern to be machined from four-quarter lumber. The width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the molder or shaper used to cut the design. The profile is composed of a 3/8" tall by 5/8" wide tongue and a 3/8" tall by 3/8" deep groove; there is a .010" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of lumber are joined, they create a butt joint on the bottom and a 1/4" wide by 1/8" deep channel on the face side of the merged boards.
