Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 73

This 3/4" - 73 wide v-groove is utilized for tongue & groove or shiplap siding profiles. The detail is designed for a molder with two top cutterheads. The knife design allows the machine operator to mill a finish thickness dimension on the first top cutter head, then place a variable width v-groove anywhere on either face of the board with the second top or second bottom cutter head. The knives are capable of milling a v-shaped channel any width from .001" to 1.031" wide; this is controlled by how deep the operator sets the radial movement of the knives into the wood. This detail has great flexibility in usage and reduces production cost while saving time.
